Keith Marlett

Professor, Counseling | Core Faculty Member, Graduate Counseling | Department Chair, Graduate Counseling

Counselor and teacher, Dr. Keith Marlett has been teaching since 2003, and at CSU since 2017. He loves being able to help shape future counselors for the benefit of those they serve—and for God's glory.

Marlett has also taught at Ashland Theological Seminary, Liberty University, Grace College & Seminary and Davis College. Marlett is a professional counselor in Ohio and a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana. Previously a church planter, pastor, criminal court judge and counseling center director, he brings a variety of real-life experiences to the classroom.

His doctoral research centered on the personality characteristics of counseling students and displays his passion for both counseling and education.

I love teaching at CSU because I enjoy seeing how God works through our graduates to serve Him and the people that He has entrusted to their care.
