Softball Prospect Camp

See the CSU difference in action! Experience our campus and get to know your future teammates and coaches. See what it’s like to play for a university where people care about your athletic skill development and also your personal development.

• Ages:  9th-12th grade
• Bring: softball gear; bedding and toiletries for an overnight stay in residence halls.
• Costs: Free for athletes! Includes housing, meals, activities and softball instruction. At registration, you are welcome to purchase an official CSU Lady Defender softball practice jersey for $10.00
• Family: Parents are welcome to attend any activity.

Friday

• Start off Friday with a glimpse of what it’s like to be part of the CSU family! Join us to eat lunch, meet students, attend chapel and get insider tips about financial aid. You can opt to meet with a professor or attend a class, too!
• The Defender Softball Prospect Camp activities begin at 2:30 p.m. Camp will include individual instruction, hitting and fielding drills, a controlled scrimmage, and coaching in the mental aspect of the game. You will enjoy a meal with the team and get to know your teammates and coaches through a Q&A session and fun activities planned for Friday night.

Saturday

• Saturday’s camp activities run through noon and include a full batting practice and brunch. After that, you are welcome to stick around to watch our CSU Defender soccer game Saturday afternoon.
