Wayne Slusser

Seminary Dean | Professor, New Testament, Greek | Head Coach, Women's Soccer

Dr. Wayne Slusser has been teaching the study of Scripture since 2001. He came to Baptist Bible Seminary in 2015 and was named dean in 2018. He's passionate about understanding the original biblical languages and interpreting Scripture correctly.

Slusser has years of hands-on ministry experience, having formerly planted and pastored a church in Ozark, Missouri. He produces weekly videos teaching Greek on his website, www.ntresources.com, and has authored several articles in the Journal of Ministry & Theology. And he's the head coach of the Lady Defenders soccer team!

Fun fact: In high school, he bought a 1969 VW Beetle (for $300!) and completely restored it. In his free time, Slusser can be found designing landscapes, playing sports with his two sons and exercising with his wife, Melissa.

I love teaching students and coaching athletes because I get to help them grow in their walk with God...discipleship!
